Problem solvers

We are a group of engineers, scientists and educators dedicated to solving the world's most challenging problems.

We invest in the education of our most vulnerable citizens to empower their communities.

We have several brands that all help us focus our activities.

Hope Charity - Education support for the community
STEAMPunx - Science and engineering workshops and tutorials
1hourphoton - Live and studio engineering

Hope Charity

Equity/Excellence funding for our most vulnerable citizens

The Hope Charity creates value through our talented and passionate volunteers. We use these generated funds to provide education assistance to low-socio economic students, families and educators.

We collect laptops, tablets, calculators and other important equipment that not all students have access too.

We provide access to digital technologies; robotics, electronics, 3d printing, laser cutting and renewable and battery technologies.

We have seen the large difference between the educational outcomes of students with access to the latest technology, and students who don't have access to the most basic requirements.

We work with government and industry to provide funding, training, advice and employment opportunities for students about to enter the workforce.

We hope to equip our kids with the knowledge and skills to make the most informed decisions regarding their current and future life.

We create learning activities and resources and make them openly available. We believe that intellectual property is a form of class warfare. All humans should be able to access all knowledge (except personal details, such as what you ate for breakfast).

We believe that knowledge and education is a basic human right and that putting education behind a pay wall is inherently amoral.
